I would like to ask your permission to nominate [pupil name] for Axiom Maths circles, starting in January 2026. This is a fully funded after-school programme designed to challenge and inspire exceptional young mathematicians.

I have chosen to nominate [pupil name] because of their outstanding ability and enthusiasm for maths. The programme is run by the education charity Axiom Maths, giving pupils with the heart and head for maths the chance to explore exciting ideas, collaborate with like-minded peers, and realise their potential.

What does the programme involve?

• Weekly one-hour sessions, after school, at a time that works for you (no homework or preparation needed).

• Small groups of 5–7 pupils led by experienced maths mentors.

• It is likely that all sessions will take place online. In some cases, pupils may be placed with one of Axiom’s trusted delivery partners, whose programme may include occasional in-person sessions.

• All online sessions take place on a secure platform for maths circles and strict safeguarding measures are in place to keep pupils safe, including recording every session.

The programme comes at no cost to you.
